In frozen coffee drinks news, I can report that an almost two year old cannot tell the difference between a Frappuccino and ice cream. And will ask for some of Daddy's ice cream approximately 27 times in the time it takes Daddy to drink a Frappuccino.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Clearly, daddy should have had ice cream instead, thereby removing the confusion.

We eat our ice cream after Eve goes to bed, so we don't have to share...

ION, I have just learned that a college friend of mine's cousin is a purveyor of pasties. For your pasty needs, see [link] (NOT work safe, but not violating public deceny laws in most states!)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Well, yeah. A frappucino is basically a coffee shake. Your little girl's no dummy.

But her parents can tell the difference after she's ingested the former, I'd guess. My nephew got into his dad's pepsi the other weekend. My SIL was ready to kill both of them. (My brother for being such a flake and leave un-D friendly stuff lying around and D for bouncing off the walls and being one wired toddler. The kid is scary enough without sugar and caffeine.)

This weekend I watched the new SG-1, Atlantis, and read HP6. I did not watch BSG because I'm resisting new shows like whoa, and until Dana traps me in her house and shows me the DVDs, it ain't happening.

But I'm kind of cranky and discussed-out already on all of them, because fandom is large with the wank. Or possibly I just need more coffee.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm coming down with a cold. I've lost my appetite, congested, sore throat, sensitive ears, and most startlingly, am having a bit of a job keeping down my breakfast. Which was tea and vitamins.

AND I go to Montreal on Wednesday.

Not happy.

I guess I should take a sick day -- no, better to work from home I guess, but I hate phrasing these things.

Jesse - Jul 18, 2005 5:16:19 am PDT #746 of 10002
Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor sick ita. I often find vitamins nauseating, myself.

I am glad to be in air conditioning, but the fact that it's at work is slightly less exciting. Why can't I be in the movies instead?? And I have a zillion faxes to send, each of which needs a cover sheet. Stoopid work!!!

Oh, also? WTF with the crazy hurricanes all in a row?

If every day had chapter headings, this would be today's.

I had the best summery wekeend though. I basically went to the pool, read books, ate ice cream, slept.
