Oo, pretty! I still like my other unfinished version better, but I think part of it is the alpaca, and the pretty green colors, but also the smaller gauge. It just seems sturdier with the smaller gauge.

Sorry can't join you for fabric shopping, I have the MRI tomorrow. Yay.

If you are going to cost plus, and like to cook - pick up some Summer Savory and Chervil. Use a fifty/fifty mixture instead of Parsley in your favorite recipe.

I will keep my eye out for it.

When the President stands, nobody sits!

HA! Precisely.

Nah, I don't think I have any more ability or space to buy fabric.

Also, I'm just remembering I have a wedding to go to in hollywood at 4:30. One that I haven't old Lori about. oops.

I can see where a smaller gauge would work out well, Polgara. The cotton I bought with 11s is a good size. Plus it's variegated weights.

I need to start work on the dreaded hat for the neighbor - it's going to require either size 1 or 2 needles, which I have to buy first, which means, actually going to an LYS this weekend. Danger, Will Robinson!

Oh Ainsley! I loved her.

"Toby come quick! Sam's getting his ass kicked by a girl."

Dude, don't do the hat. it sounds like cruel/unusual punishment. I went yesterday to get yarn to finish the throw I'm doing (the grey crocheted one) and ended up buying a total of about 1000 yards of yarn. Some alpaca, lots of cotton.

I have to do the hat, I promised. I just have to do it and get it done already. At least I picked a pattern that looks doable.

Alpaca, yay! Which brand?

oooh. that's going to be a bite in the ass. because it swirls, so at rough glance, you have to make on one end and decrease on the other.

Oh no! I'm totally wrong. It doesn't.

Still gonna bite, but I couldn't find anything else that would work with such a thin thread.

edited because apparently the strikeout tag doesn't work. :-(
