Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Ah, then. Yes, I agree with the off-the-'shrooms being bad then.

WOOT! I at least made it before Polgara. BTW, Polgara, I'm knitting the same baby blanket you knit, but in pink peruvian cotton and with seed stitch around the border. I'm over 2 hanks in and I have 4 more to go. AM BORED.

Yummy, but I don't have the stuff for them either.

Two words: Cost Plus.

It's boring, but it's also mindless, so it's an easy project to do while watching, say, The West Wing. It's much prettier with the seed stitch even though it's a pain in the ass, but I ran out of yarn for the one I was doing that way. Hopefully Elann will have it again in the fall.

ETA: There! I beat my post count from Natter 36!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cost Plus.

Ooh, I could do that. There's one in the Hillsdale mall.

Mwah! I love Polgara.

I like the yarn I'm using, but the fibers are sticking/shedding a bit. What yardage did you use? I'm using 300 yards up to the switch in stockinette/reverse stockinette and then 300 yards after. 105 stitches on 11s.

What did the original pattern call for?

I knit 200 yards between last night and right now.

too quick on the trigger.

Except these posts should be used by msbelle as a support for the crafting thread.

Hmm, no clue what the original yardage was, just that they used Noro. I used four skeins of Plymouth Divine, which I think was 400 before, 400 after, also on 11s. I knit way slower than you, though, so it took me forever. But, the bossman really seemed to like it, so it was worth it.

I don't suppose anyone wants to go shopping for upholstery fabric with me tomorrow? Diamond is having a big overstock clearance.

The yarn I used in pink. My blanket will be significantly smaller than yours then. I'm trying to go as quickly as I can because Diana is having her baby in 2 months.

And, also, I need to finish the one for Plei and Lily. It's taking much longer because it's smaller gauge, but a nicer fiber.
