Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I actually prefer getting the coins on top, because I can slide the coins into the right part of my wallet without dropping the bills, but getting bills into my wallet while cupping coins in my hand is difficult and leads to dropping stuff.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Deconstruction of the next Doctor's wardrobe.

Hmm. I approve.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What I despise violently is when people loiter at the subway station stairs. You're on the STAIRS. You're in NEW YORK. What is WRONG with you?

WALK LEFT/STAND RIGHT! It's not that freaking hard, and it may save you from getting pushed down the escalator by me.

If I only had a brain...

Oy.

"Indian Railways is the responsibility of Lord Vishwakarma. So is the safety of passengers... It is His duty, not mine. I have been forced to don His mantle," Laloo said before a section of media persons at the CM house here late on Thursday evening.

The minister said he is merely a medium of the God... He has put a picture of Lord Vishwakarma in his office. "I keep telling Him whatever accident or incident takes place on the tracks is His responsibility," the rail minister said.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Deconstruction of the next Doctor's wardrobe.

I have that brown pinstripe suit! I wore it to the Zmayhem wedding.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went out to dinner for our anniversary(yeah, it's been a year. Time flies don't it?). G got me a necklace with a lovely Star of David pendant. I...haven't gotten him anything yet. Perhaps I'll find something in Scotland.

What should I get at the Sarajevo Fast Food place by my house? I don't know what any of it is.

Sorry, I went offline to sulk. And...I have no idea. The blini were good in Prague...if you like crepes. I don't. The rest of the native food I ran into wasn't to my taste. Heavy on the pork and dumplings, drenched in pork fat (knedliky?) I'm sure there was good food... oh! Bread. And cheese. The parek v roliku (sausage like hot dog in a roll.) And cucumbers, for some reason. Still with the not helping.
