Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Will we get a report after the talk? Will there be questions and answers? A powerpoint presentation? Echidnas?

These are all dangerous questions. Aside from the echidna one, for which I will not make you wait: [link]

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This is just your default link now, isn't it?

I'm so glad I'm not alone in not loving SM2. Although, I did like Molina as Doc Oc. But the guy I saw it with LURVED it, because "Kirsten Dunst is HAWT!!!1!"

I think she looks like a half-orc.

I've avoided the creepy insect talk. One of my earliest memories is staying up all night sitting on my bed with my mom, watching a ~4" scorpion on the wall over my bed, as she didn't want to go after it or take her eyes off it.

The LifeGems are twisted, and if someone could promise me that I'd be used in a Death Ray, I would become one. Maybe different people would cause different Death Ray powers? I like to think my LifeGem would zap proselytizers and Republicans, but I'd probably just zap people who own Glitter on DVD.

Echidna actually lived on the flesh of the young men whom he would kill after coaxing them to his camp on some pretext.

I'm going to go with yes...

I restrained myself last lecture from bringing up the Ontological Argument, due to time constraints. They may not be so lucky this time. Incidentally, there was also a monster in Greek mythology called Echidna. She seems to have spent most of her time spawning other monsters, including Cerberus, Chimera, Nemean Lion, Hydra, Sphinx, and of course Medusa.

Did they name the little Oz creature after this monster?

Awake.

Do we even have a night shift anymore?

I took half an Ambien a while ago and instead of putting me to sleep like it does 19 out of 20 times, it made me just not care. I am quite relaxed and reading badfic instead. And I don't care. Perhaps I will eventually fall asleep from the ennui.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I woke up with an upset tummy.

How much of a geek am I that I have my iBook lying on my bed, and that when I'm awake at 3:00 a.m. I think, "Well, since I'm awake I might as well see what's going on in Buffistaland"?
