"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Ha, yeah, there wasn't much of a resolution beyond well, I'm accepting my destiny. And his secret identity, not so secret at all anymore.

As usual, though, I'm enjoying the making of on the DVD. I think that just proves what a NERD I am.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I did really enjoy the bit where Aunt May started swinging her umbrella to kill Dr. Octopus once he'd taken her hostage, rather than shrieking and cowering like most kidnapped elderly ladies in movies. Too bad she didn't get bitten by the radioactive spider, ChicagoNew York would be a crime free city. And clean .

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm home.

Mocking SM2 with Kat and Lori earlier was fun. Flying with a bad tooth was not fun.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ouch! Can you do or take anything to help?

I am reading the SM2 white font through squinty eyes since it is next up on my dvd list. I am powerless in the face of whitefont.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hey, Cass! Fear me! FEAR ME!! How's it going?

I have my penguin coaster at work. It makes me laugh and makes me think of you. How is Monday?

Monday holds no terrors for the Penguin of Death.

It's been pretty good so far. I need to finish slides for the lecture I'm giving on Thursday, didn't get nearly enough done on the weekend. Still, it's coming together.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

SM2 had the Attack of the Killer Anvils that managed to take me out of the movie about 2/3s of the way through. Given the hype, I'd expected it to be better.

It's not the best comic book superhero movie ever made. Hec is wrong like a wrong thing.

For starters, KD is way more annoying than KH.

This is good to know. Found out that JackAssCoworker is suddenly *poof* gone just as I left on Friday so I am comforted that my penguin is safe. It certainly is going to be interesting.

Is the lecture at work or outside work?

edit: "This" was Monday when I wrote it. But it is also good to know that I should lower my expectations for SM2, I enjoy bad movies more when I expect them to suck.
