It's so bad that we can't stop watching it.

I liked Spiderman 2 better than the first one, but I found some huge flaws in it that stand apart from my lack of affection for the character -- just some admission of the fact that the issues that bother him at the start of the movie are mostly unresolved at the end. I thought that dissatisfying.
It's painfully difficult for me to watch. I liked the first one so much more.
What did you like about the second one?
My worst insect experience involved falling off my bike and landing with my ankle in a fire ant bed. I don't think we even tried to count the individual stings, but it swelled up like a bad sprain.
manboobs.
What did you like about the second one?
I hated the first one a lot, and that's why I liked the second one better. It's pretty faint praise, and I can't remember the details of the first to be able to explain how the second failed me less.
Kat, I can't belive you're hating Spider-Man 2 - I thought it was much better than the first one, and I liked the first one fine.
Molina is a much better, more complex and interesting villain. And I thought Peter Parker's life was grounded in reality so that you understood the sacrifices he made to do the right thing. I think it's the best comic book movie that's been made.
I kept getting stung repeatedly one year on vacation when I was about 12. Oddly, it only happened when I wore one particular shirt.
Bees will attack a "black bag", which is, appropriately enough, a bag made of black cloth and stuffed with sand or rice or something fairly weighty, that's hung near their hive. They will also attack, somewhat less fiercely, a white bag. Behaviorists speculate that black and white are colors of bee colonies main predators, thus the colors are hardwired into the tiny bee brain as "enemy! attack!" So if your shirt was black or white Fred, this may be why you got stung while wearing it.
Also, wasps and yellowjackets, both members of the hornet family, are attracted to floral prints, because they prey on the insects that eat leaves and drink the nectar.
I have a severe localized allergy to stings, and have done much research to figure out what not to do to keep from getting stung. The next one could cause an anaphylactic reaction...or not. No way of knowing, the doctor said, and I'd really just as soon not find out.
Huh.
I find the acting really flat. The lines are either delivered as heroic homily or with the premonition that it is supposed to be a Big Thing.
I thought some of the CGI was really poorly done.
And it was just too long, bloated and boring.
And, weirdly, what it does do for me is point out how much more enjoyable Batman Begins was, even though it made my ass fall asleep with length.
And I agree with msbelle. I don't want to see Molina shirtless EVER again.
I thought some of the CGI was really poorly done.
Ten times better than the first one, which got thoroughly slagged for it's poor CGI compared to the competition (like X-2).
