Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I came in to work today in teh hopes of catching some co-workers in a foreign country, but alas, I got here to late and they are gone for the day.

It is loverly outside.

Hey Jesse, why not just put your A/C on fan and blow in the nice 72 degree outside air? cheaper than a/c.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My A/C doesn't have a "fan" setting. I put it on low, though.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Anyone looking for a house in Ohio? This one's not much to look at, but they say it's got central air.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Fire ants only rank 1.2 out of 4? Wow. I've never been stung by any of the others on the list, but--wow. I guess part of what made the bites so bad is that you don't get just one fire ant sting. Or is it bite? Or both? I forget.

And the blisters last.

And continue to hurt for days.

I do not like fire ants.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Huh. I think I was stung by a pepsis wasp (tarantula hawk) when I was stationed in Tennessee. All I know is that the bugger flew in the open window, landed on my leg and zapped me but good. It hurt like the devil and I had to pull the car off the road and stop while I just gritted my teeth in pain. I couldn't drive for about 5 minutes afterward, but then it quit hurting pretty soon after. Just itched like the dickens for a couple days afterward.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Is anyone else having trouble with thesuperficial.com? ita turned me on to it and now I'm hooked. However, I can't seem to make the thing load anymore. I have to force quit out of my browser every time. I need my gossip, people!

BTW, I'm running Safari 1.3 on OS X (10.3.9).

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had a productive trip to the mall. Bought some socks, some underwear and a new belt(the old one wore out fairly quickly). Now being pestered by a cat.

What is even happening?

Cemetery can't find dad's grave

That's so upsetting--I can't even imagine. They put the wrong headstone on my father's grave. We knew precisely where it was, because it was on a corner, in the newest section of the cemetery, so it couldn't be anywhere else, but it was an awful feeling, and it seemed like forever until they corrected it. It was such a relief once they did, and even better, once Dad's own stone was finally up. The stone that was wrongly placed on Dad's grave, made at least one other wrong pitstop after being on Dad's, before it found it's (I assume) proper place.

Always Anti-fascist!

That misplaced body thing happened in Baltimore. They did an autopsy on the wrong man.(/Homicide likes carrots)Mrs. Helpful sent me to a Mr. Pointy/"Say hello to my little friend!" place upon my reading that it was something of ita's. I came out equal parts "Loner" "and "Drama Nerd", I suspect it might have been different if I was in a brighter mood last night.
