If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Our Scottish office just showed up. Man, I could listen to them talk all day. One is from Glasgow and has a lovely, lilting accent. The other is from Aberdeen, and has a very thick brogue, even better. (The Glaswegian told me a story about being in the car with the other guy once when he was talking to his wife - even he couldn't understand him. "And suddenly I realise, all this time, R's been speaking posh." Apparently the dialect in Aberdeen is comprehensible to pretty much no one anywhere else. Hopefully I'll get to hear it sometime. And you should hear this guy speak Spanish.)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

OK, stop the presses on the manufacturer liability, I sent off my research without it. No matter!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mmmm, accents...

Oh, definitely up for meeting people.
Something in a nice weekend, maybe? I'll e you.

should have skipped entirely. people continue to be wrong.

I am very tired. I am also working late.

tomorrow I need to have a small talk with someone concerning quite a few recent work quality problems. I don't wanna and I fear my tone being too hard.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bizzarre questions people have asked Scopes: [link]

They say that if a person has a pet cat and dies, if the person's body is not found fairly soon after death, the cat, having not been fed, will become ravenously hungry and eat the dead person's face off — JUST the face!

Is this true? My cat often looks me in the face. I used to think he was just being friendly. Now I know he's just sizing me up, like a chef at a butcher shop, waiting for "the big day". Since hearing this rumor, every time my cat licks his chops it gives me the willies!

...

I'm 19 and from Yuma, Az and I would like to know if this myth I'v been hearing is true? By masturbating it helps the chance by not getting cancer? Is that true?..also I'v hurd other myths about masturbation and don't know if those myths are true or not. But I would like to know about the question I asked befoe.

...

is it true that if you take already been chewed gum and put it in an orange peel and put it in the refigrator for 4-6 weeks and then eat it will it be acid?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I wish my office had a nap room.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I like the masturbation one because it's odd that one would somehow need encouragement? To masturbate? Or it helps because you just feel good not getting cancer? But I would like to know about the question I asked befoe.

It's a remora, dimwit.

I have seen studies that suggest regular sex and/or mastrubation can lower the risk of prostate cancer in men.
