Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

Okay working from home today was fun until 2 PM. The sun has moved and between that and the laptop, I'm sweating bullets.

The temptation to take a swim break is great.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sweet jesus, why not?

Me, I want a job with surf breaks (no, not this sort). I'm not sure I'd take them, but it would be the kewlest.

I'm sure the DoD inventors of the WWWnever thought it would be so mundane.

Their heads probably exploded with online dating. I mean, even military nerds like porn, right?

I ordered new cheques! DC Heroes. The lady asked me if I didn't want to see some other styles. Not unless you have sets that are all Batman, lady -- make the order, and make sure the first name's lowercase. Hurry!

It's the whole thing about people seeing my fat ass in a bathing suit.

Or really, I have no ass. More like the fat rest of me.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Holy 1980's!

I don't remember the last time I wrote a cheque. All my bills are EFT.

I'm so not EFTing my rent. The float is too long. That's my money. I'm also not EFTing across borders.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think you'd look kick-ass in a bathing suit, Kristen, but you're also very much the body type I like to see in chicks, so I admit to a slight bias.

(Tall and imposing is sexy.)

Dude! Where from? We need checks for the joint account, ones with my name, and I'm bored with my dogs playing poker.

Heh. Email notification of impending reboot sent to coworkers has put the fear into them. Of course, they're still not leaving. Their dedication to their jobs is admirable, but don't they realize it's new SciFi Friday and I need to be home in two hours?

Dude! Where from?

They're new in for Bank Of America. I tried a quick google and found these which aren't mine -- I also get GL and Flash, and the heroes are over the whole cheque, almost Pop Art style.
