Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'd be all over these:

Love those. Dunno if I 93-dollars-love those, but love those.

I like Mary Janes. Actually, since my heel is really narrow for the ball & toes of my foot (been referring to them as frog feet for ages) kinda necessary.

I love Mary Janes--two of the three pairs of shoes I own that I can still wear are Mary Janes--but think they work best without a wedge, and that the combination takes that particular shoe from close to perfectly cute to merely exceedingly cute.

I'm still ogling the pink and rhinestones.

They look so cute and so comfortable!

Love those. Dunno if I 93-dollars-love those, but love those.

If they came in wide, I think I'd 93-dollars-love those. Like I said, I'm actually glad they won't fit me, because I do not need expensive casual shoes.

Oddly enough, lots of the new flues are too something for me. I need a decent heel, one not too skinny, not too pointy and not too clunky (though my current black ones are mega clunky. Oh, and my red kindergarten shoes...so maybe I'm lying.) I dunno. I think I just have to wait. There's at least one shoe a year or so that is what I am looking for.

YAY! Maybe I can even have an appetizer. (Poke!) I mean, I'll have 2.5 hours and it's less than five minutes down the road.

I've finally come over to thinking $100 for a good shoe is worth it. $200, now...working on it. I console myself with a) classic enough and b) re-solable.

Of course, I still adore my current sandals, 6 years old (2 pair! Brown and black!) which I paid a whopping $6 each for at Montgomery Wards going out of business sale.

I took a chance and bought these: [link] on ebay last night, as Nordies had nothing in my size that suited my purposes. I'm hoping they arrive before the weekend, and that they actually fit. But they're pretty cute in a low-key way.

YAY! I'm stoked on our behalf, Kristen. That works out!

Those are cute, Plei. Dressy yet comfie looking.

I would totally pay $93 for pink clogs except for this: I already have two pair of poink clogs, and 1 pair of hot pink crocs. As well as a pair of pink sandals. And two pairs of pink or pink and black converse.

How many pink shoes does a girl need? this is not rhetorical.
