Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

GM still isn't really to market with a Hybrid SUV, are they?

They have a hybrid pickup truck. Which is kinda' lame-ass, as the way they did it produces very little fuel savings.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Yeah, I saw the Hybrid truck, it's really for a different reason, it's marketed to contractors and such. You basically get an AC generator built into your truck. Kinda handy.

Yikes. Okay. If my money situation stays as good as it's been for the past few months then I may be ready do make a move in the late fall. Was really looking at the CRD Liberty, but they can't be sold in CA due to a messed up CARB regualtion. They are super low on CO2 emissions, but can't pass the CA NOx emissions. Frustrating because they really are a clean emissions vehicle. It's also the fact that diesel in the US produces more pollutants that diesel in most third world countries.

Can you tell the high gas prices are really starting to chafe?

Exactly.

The 2 initial will be the Tahoe and Yukon: [link]

GM also produces a hybrid bus: [link]

I have to fill up in the morning. That's really not the best way to start a week.

Hmmm, okay that pretty much drops GM out of it. I have no desire to drive something the size of a Tahoe or Yukon around LA. I'm looking smaller. The Liberty that I've currently got is a great size for me. I don't even want to think about parking a Tahoe around LA.

How about the Saturn Vue? It will be out sooner, but less FE savings.... [link]

Heh on the parking. It's hellacious parking those in DC too.

I've stopped driving to work at all (I used to about every other day). I've hardly driven at all in the last 7 months, which is good as I sold my one car that got better than 15 mpg.

The VUE is in the size bracket that I like. But yeah, only a 10% increase in fuel. Any idea what ballpark that puts it into?
