You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hung v. sliders - are sliders the ones that slide side-to-side instead of up and down?

Heh. I thought this was a baseball question and I was wondering why Ple was answering it.

Does "hung" have a baseball meaning to it?

We had a good hot weather day. Time in the bookstore and then at a bakery (both a/c) and then the pool. After the pool we had posole and sopes and now I feel faintly nauseated.

ah, summer.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm considering taking a medium-sized walk to Cold Stone. I think crossing the street to go to the deli is more likely.

go cold stone!

Seriously. So yum

BUT, do not have the wasabi ginger ice cream. Even Lori made a cat-coughing-up-hairball face after trying some.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe tomorrow.

I've had some wasabi dessert thing that was intriguing, if not actually yummy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just thinking it was sushi time.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I went into Cold Stone, but I didn't see anything that really grabbed me, and it just smelled so sweet I had to get out. But it was for the best, cause later I had the best coconut ice ever at a different place. (In the summer, they're called the IceBox, and they have 20 kinds of homemade ices plus a half a dozen soups. In the winter, they change the name to SoupBox, and they have 18 different soups and about 10 kinds of ices. Kind of neat.)

Now tagless for your comfort.

When we lived in a tiny apartment with no A/C we used to sit in a bathtub full of cold water eating popsicles. Those were good times.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Speaking of ice, the two-three inches that were clinging to the top of my freezer finally let go, so I was able to turn the freezer/fridge temperature back up to normal. I now have a huge slab of ice thawing out in my kitchen sink.

Next time, I'll remember to defrost every six months, instead of every four years...
