Xander: Look who's got a bad case of Dark Prince envy. Dracula: Leave us. Xander: No, we're not going to "Leabbb you." And where'd you get that accent, Sesame Street? "One, Two, Three - three victims! Maw ha ha!"

What is even happening?

I think it might be because when you say Raquel, you put the stress on the second syllable, so the vowel in the first gets swallowed. When you say Raq there's only one place to put the stress. Do you think you say the "a" in Raquel as a true "ah" or more like a schwa?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I give it the full ah. Like ROCK-el. Kinda.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I think Raq roqs.

In that case, it's because your dad had a thing for ROCK-el Welch.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

The original Steve's was in Davis Square. Apparently Herrell's is still good (Steve Herrell was the founder, who sold off his first name along with Steve's Ice Cream).

Mmm. We have a Herrell's in Northampton. We also got a Cold Stone recently, but I've never been there, for I am in love with Herrell's. (Although the best ice cream ever is from Bart's, another local ice cream place: Black Tiger. Kahlua ice cream with dark chocolate chunks and, hmm, maybe something else? Must seek out a pint this weekend to refresh my memory.)

Jesse is me w/r/t Raquel and Raq.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

PBS was airing a special about ice cream the other night-- maybe it was just my PBS. Did no one else see it?

Dippin' Dots: The Ice Cream of the Future. Or at least, that's what they were saying in 1994, before it became clear that IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO IMPROVE ICE CREAM.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think there's a vending machine with Dipping Dots at the movie theater. i may have some when I go see the penguin movie on Sunday. To be, like, thematic. Or something.

I don't have a favorite ice cream. Unless it's the one I'm having right now. When I'm having ice cream. Which I am not, at the moment. So, no favorite.

Thrive to spite them

I love Cold Stone Creamery. For a work birthday party we got a Red Velvet ice cream cake -- red velvet cake, cake batter ice cream, yummy frosting and pecans. Very yummy.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

They sell Dippin' Dots at Shea Stadium in a cup shaped like a Mets batting helmet.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've never had a Dippin' Dot, but truthfully, I'm not feeling the lack.
