Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I distinctly remember the icecream being swirled with blueberry sauce and chunks of cheesecake.

Hershey's Ice Cream makes one. Back when we sold ice cream in the pizza side of the restaurant, it was one of our flavors. Very yummy.

Unfortunately, it's only available in the 3 gallon can size: [link]

There's a distribution center in Chicago, which means there must be ice cream parlors that carry it. If you call, they may be able to tell you where you can find it. [link]

Kat is right and pure in her pool love today. I need a pool. So damn hot... I'd maim for a good noodle.

YES! The pool is king. Long live the pool! Don't maim for the noodle, Cass. you need the pool too.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And I have a sick fondness for B&R Daquiri Ice.

I love Daquiri ice.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that the mall in Rockford has one of those ice cream dots places.

I've had Cold Stone Ice Cream. It's okay. My fave ice cream is actually custard from my local custard stand. Delicious and waaay cheaper than those franchise type places.

And it's going to be 110 with the humidity here this weekend. Whose idea was that?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Matt and Perkins are wise with their taste!

Perkins, had I known, I have some in my freezer. I bought a quart in the theory that having it around would make me get sick of it.

DAMN! It's nigh impossible to find really good lemon ice cream. I always look and am disappointed by sorbet. My father used to take me to this place when I was a kid and I always ordered it because he did. It was the bestest thing ever and I can never find it when I need a bit of creamy nostalgia.

It's so good. It's like the best lemon curd in the world, only frozen and creamy.

I want both. For I am greedy.

It was nearly 90 inside here. That is so wrong. I knocked on a neighbor's door and had him help me move my widdle a/c unit to the window. It's down five degrees. Remind me of this when I get my electric bill.

I could loll in a pool for hours right now...

I have found that I can only eat a little bit at a time, even though I do like it.

yes, Cass. Do they have cool centers out by you? I know in San Bernadino County they were opening some this week due to the heat.

I love the pool.

We really never tend to be this hot. The libraries are around for the elderly in the worst of the heat. I think as cool centers, actually.

This is just miserable. If there was a breeze, it would be different.

The a/c in the window is helping a lot. I just worry about the cats tomorrow if we stay so hot and so still. It's a huge shock from our notmal temps.
