The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins, had I known, I have some in my freezer. I bought a quart in the theory that having it around would make me get sick of it.

I have found that I can only eat a little bit at a time, even though I do like it.

yes, Cass. Do they have cool centers out by you? I know in San Bernadino County they were opening some this week due to the heat.

I love the pool.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

We really never tend to be this hot. The libraries are around for the elderly in the worst of the heat. I think as cool centers, actually.

This is just miserable. If there was a breeze, it would be different.

The a/c in the window is helping a lot. I just worry about the cats tomorrow if we stay so hot and so still. It's a huge shock from our notmal temps.

I heard that the cool centers also have financial assistance/some sort of grants to encourage seniors and anyone else on a fixed income to use their air conditioning. So, they can get part of their utilities paid for.

Sorry it's so miserable for you.

I have little mini ice packs I've been using. Their boo boo sized, literally a pillow about the size of a quarter. they're excellent in your pockets, on your head, down your shirt.

It's down to 83. The window a/c is amazing actually. Not really that strong but it helps so much.

There are grants and stuff here too, I think. I used to work for the utility here and that sounds familiar. Which is a really good thing. I am glad they are encouraging people to find a place away from the worst of the heat.

I have an ice pack right now that I am moving about. Got a buggy bite on my foot so I was numbing it. But it is lovely for the coolness. Pillow-sized would be great.
