Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I remember when I was a kid getting blueberry cheesecake ice cream from one of the chain ice cream places and it was the bestest ice cream ever. But I have yet in my adult life to find any ice cream store, chain or not, that actually carries it.

ION, now that's cooled off outside (a relative term) and I've been a lazy bum for the better part of the week, I decided I should do some exercise. I was disappointed to discover I've been away from Tae Kwon Do so long I've forgotten my third form (out of 4). The other three and some kicking drills were more than enough for my out-of-shape self, though.

It's cooler on the floor. I'm going to lie on the floor.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Hey, peoples! Liese S. was in town with her DH, and so I dragged them off to Graeter's for ice cream, as any visitor to Cincinnati should be dragged. We talked all about their work, and the challenges it presents, and segued into talking about writing and politics and books and how good the ice cream was. A thoroughly enjoyable time. I wanted to keep them.

As always, pictures were had:

Me and Liese in Graeter's (note the neon ice-cream cone in the background).
Liese's cool new hair. It's a dramatically angled bob clipped close at the nape, with great swingy movement -- it's similar to Anne's swanky haircut, but shorter.
Yes, the DH is real, and not some actor hired to play the part.

I hope you are all properly jealous of me. Neener!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn. There are two Cold Stones withing walking distance. Not close walking, but one is close to a train stop.

Kalshane, was it BlueBell out of texas? That ring MAJOR bells from my youth. I used to visit my aunt, and my uncle was obsessed with BlueBell and that flavor sounds right.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Great pictures! Liese and DH are as adorable as I expected and Teppy, you look like you've lost weight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

YAY for ice cream with Liese and Mr. Liese!

You can get cheesecake ice cream with blueberries in it at Cold Stone.

Crap, I'm totally going there this weekend, now. There's one right up the street from me!

Once you get talking to them, they're even more adorable, in a please-move-here-and-be-my-Scooby-Gang kind of way. You know, Buffistas.

and Teppy, you look like you've lost weight.

It looks that way to me, too, though certain pants and skirts actually are tighter. I think perhaps the weight is making a pilgrimage to parts south, or something.

But thanks!
