Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Ohhh. Top 20!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Top 20, unless I type too slow.

And now back to playing catch-up in the old, dead Natter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, did Scola get both 10,000 and the first post in the new thread? He's shifty.

It's true. You have to keep your eye on him.

My job could not be more boring right now. I need stuff back from my boss, but I guess he's not here? I saw him briefly earlier, but that's it. A little bit ago, my coworker said, "Aren't you guys bored?" The other two of us were like, "YES!" But we're not really a chatty three-some, so we're all still bored, I think. Although now two of us are typing and one's on the phone.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yeah, that guy was in some sketch-o-rama office space. He's still no rock-bottom Bobolit, thought!

Well no. But, it's pretty hard to top trying to slice your own face off.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Huh. Turn your back for a minute and bam, new thread. I need to stop this work habit of mine, for sure.

Eeeew. I didn't even mean that part -- I meant doing the surgery in the back of the nail salon all hopped up and whatnot.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Right, so. I can't leave the office for at least two hours and I am painfully bored.

Dance, natter, dance!

shrift, stop being me again.

Someone gave me a free root beer when the vending machine ran amok.

Someone else didn't bcc the recipients on an email directed at those being laid off, so now I know who they all are. Since it is officially unofficial for another couple of weeks, the list might get to be one longer.
