Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

And with that, I think I go to bed. I'm just in a mood. Plus, I just saw a rerun of NOVA mars thing. And Adam Something is pretty!

Kids, pretty guys, my kind of geekery. MOOD.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm too lazy to cut and colour my hair before Montreal, I fear.

I'm in a pouty sullen mood, and this is no way to be before vacation! Pfft.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Hi people! I've been very busy, but I wanted to pop in. Today I worked at the local public station where we were preparing materials for First Book. I got to flip through Corduroy, Snow Day, Alexander & the No Gooed etc., and Caps for Sale (should be poppular amongst some buffistas because of the monkeys) in both English and Spanish.

Tomorrow is Habitat at 7:15. I'm in charge of something! Didn't get the job I interviewed for on Thursday, but she said she's going to keep an eye out for something for me. I was pretty frank with her about what I'm looking for, so hopefully, if she finds something, it'll be something I want. Interview on Monday went well, but I'm less excited about the position that's open.

I know I missed some events (Happy Birthday julliana, and ~ma to Maria and them what needs it, and belateds to anyone's special day I might have missed or forgotten).

How are you feeling physically?

Have fun on vacation, by the way.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm in a pouty sullen mood,

Me too. But it's aided by the fact that Kuma just ran out the door.

And you know what? I'm not chasing him anymore. I'm just not. It's this great game. I walked about 3 blocks with him and he darted off. I came back to the house to get Bear to take her regular walk. And he reappears on the walk outside our house only to take off again when we get near him.

I'm done. Stupid dog.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

To celebrate sending my manuscript out, I bought myself a juicy steak and a cupcake.

Now for a cool shower, and to bed with me. I'm so tired.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How are you feeling physically?

Tired and achey. Which is no doubt contributing.

Mmm, steak.

I think I have leftover chicken tikka and jasmine rice. I should heat that up.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope you feel better tomorrow, all the way around.

I want steak, and cupcakes.
