What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

They don't much like us single girls, neither.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Isn't Cracker Barrel all homophobic and shit?

They were. They reformed. They added an antidiscrimination policy. For the last couple of years, they've only been guilty of bad taste.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Somewhat, yeah.

Hee.

eta: OK, to prove they're reformed, they should totally use my sister and her GF in an ad campaign.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

As Deputy Solicitor General, Roberts argued in a brief before the Supreme Court that "we continue to believe that Roe was wrongly decided and should be overruled. The Court’s conclusion in Roe that there is a fundamental right to an abortion...finds no support in the text, structure, or history of the Constitution."

Great.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That's somewhat relieving. And not just because I really like their cheesy hashbrowns. Although I haven't been there in a long time.

Great.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

I'm pretty much resigned to us getting an anti-abortion Supreme. Although I hope I'm more pessimistic than I need to be.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In somewhat less-disturbing news, there's this Century 21 ad on TLC tonight that's in Spanish, but it has English captioning, which I find interesting. Gotta make sure everyone gets it!

If I only had a brain...

When we lost the election, we lost the Court.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

But also, Roberts "told senators Roe was "the settled law of the land" and said "there's nothing in my personal views that would prevent me from fully and faithfully applying that precedent." " (From CNN) I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I may be foolish, but I'm trying to keep up hope.

Is this a done deal, though? Doesn't the Supreme Court have to vote or something? My years of watching The West Wing have apparently done me no good.
