Never mind, wrong thread....

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I've never seen Noggin, but we had plenty of Barney when the boys were little. It still saddens me that they didn't like Sesame Street. They are clearly defective.
Rum was good before bed. I slept really well. back is sore, but not bad. however, I will not be picking up bags of decorative bark from a friend. DH can do that. I won't promise not to do anything - but I will move slow and stop if the pain moves out of the " there's the right side of my lower back" realm.
matt started talking about the kitten to our cat again this morning. so far Percy just knows he is being talked to, so all is well...
Damn it. Now neither of the cars is working. We just had the timing belt replaced in the Escort, and Stephen went out to coffee (thankfully just up the street) and now it won't start. He just walked back, and his dad is taking him back with jumpers.
The cooling/exhaust system on the Hyundai is clogged (we think/hope that's all it is) and the dealer can't take it until next Tuesday. Cripes. I'm so sick of this.
I've never seen Noggin
Noggin shows reruns of many Daria episodes. I think they aim more at the junior high and early high school ages.

I think I'm ready for my interview. I know I shouldn't expect too much, since I haven't so much as interviewed for a job in years, but it'd be really nice to have this all just fall in place--get offered this job, have that daycare with the immediate opening in the toddler room work out, finish the draft of my novel in the next week or two before starting work, etc.
Oh, and DH just discovered that the restaurant we used to go to whenever we had something to celebrate that had to shut down when the owner of the building they leased wanted to do something different (Boat Street), finally has a new location and is re-opening at the end of the month. So if I got the job, we'd even have the right place to celebrate it.
But life is almost never that neatly tied up in a bow IME, so I'll try not to hope too hard.
Much interview~ma, Susan.
Sheepish grin. It was just the battery. When it comes to the cars, I always freak preemptively.
Vibing hard for you that it does all fall into place neatly, Susan! You never know. Life can surprise you.
Good luck, Susan! Much interview~ma headed your way.
~ma for Susan. ~ma, ~ma, ~ma.
I feel cheated. The cats didn't succeed in waking me for breakfast when Daniel was up and getting ready for work. So I won't get to see him until tonight at 11 when I get home from work. On the upside, at least they have figured out that they won't starve to death if I sleep in.
The not-so-upside, is that now my back isn't hurting, Harvey has become less insistent on sleeping on my abdomen, thus immobilizing me. He is now sleeping exclusively on my feet, which are hurting due to the new shoes not having enough arch support.
Sammie, of couse, just sleeps at my side, until it is cold enough for her to crawl in under the covers.
