Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

hot/cold shower - that sounds like torture

After the first two or three it feels really decent. At the end you feel nearly good.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This is how we break suspected war criminals, innit?

Yes, but they don't complain about their backs hurting later.

I'm embarrassed. I've been thinking I was getting sick for the last 4 days - headaches, tight stomach, a bit nauseous, combined with feeling empty and shaky like I'm hungry. A massive bout of depression to kick it off. Even the horrendous craving for chocolate yesterday didn't clue me in.

This morning my body voted conservative. Clearly I'm out of practice at this whole thing.

But relieved I'm not getting sick, as I have too much to do.

Poor beth!

So, what's a good side dish with pork chops? I'm planning dinner for when the guests return tomorrow.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Fried apples are great with pork chops.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So, what's a good side dish with pork chops?

I grew up with fresh mashed potatoes tinged with yellow from the copious amounts of butter my dad used, so what do I know?

Oddly? My cholesterol is under 130.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Blargh.

It's not even 8 and I've already been at work for an hour. WithOUT coffee.

I need to go stalk and capture the elusive coffee so that it can kill my gronk.

Mmm, both apples and potatoes sound really good. And my guests will like them.

The menu planning problems are that my DH is a super-taster (if not an UltraMegaSuperTaster) with a few political boycotts of foods, and our longtime friend is the polar opposite of a super-taster. He salts McDonald's french fries, and puts sugar on Frosted Flakes. And then his girlfriend grew up on Russian and Romanian food, so the usual Tex-Mex and Asian stuff I make doesn't appeal.

It's convenient that I'm omnivorous these days.

IOfood-relatedN, do the anti-abortionists eat eggs? Or are they just concerned with humans? I was wondering this as I cracked the 10th or 11th egg I've gotten recently that was extremely fertilized and looked at the embryo in it.
