Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now that we're closer to the end of thread....

Did Natter do 26 as a playing cards reference?

Because I want to propose

Spike's Bitches 26: Only Playing with Half a Deck

or

Spike's Bitches 26: Enough for Kitten Poker

Or some variation therof...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

about 20 min ago - ipushed in a chair. a light chair - no effort. felt a TWINGE on the right side of my lower back. Icing it now - will ibruprophin soon.
Ice, moist heat if it feels good, ibuprofin now and every six hours to take care of pain *and* swelling. I would also advise being incredibly gentle to it, beth. Watch the twisting, lifting, bending, all of the everyday stuff until you can feel if it is just a muscle that got a little sore or something more.

If you've got a chiro, I would rec that unless going is stressful to you. Gentle massage would also be good. And gentle, gentle, gentle streching -- no, really, GENTLE.

Really be just overly delicate and careful until you can suss out how it feels in a little while (like morning). I can't stress that enough.

ION, I spilled a take-away tiny thing of hot sauce on my laptop keyboard while I was eating my taquitos. Which tried to kill it.

After a bit, and many many many tries, the lapop rebooted and even opened Firefox and found the internet, but it got stuck on "g". It is down for the night with the battery out and the cd drive. I will mess with it tomorrow. But it finally seems not dead. Thank you silcone god.

I am taking it as a cosmic sign that I shoudn't mess around on the internet tonight and since I have already checked in with my parents, I can cheerfully throw my phone out of the window if it rings and just read for a short bit and then go to sleep early.

Do NOTHING else. I speak with the drug-addled voice of experience here. Rest.

Oh, and I didn't catch up with today's stuff cause I had only started when I decided to spice up the laptop. Please, oh please, oh please let it live again...

Beth, my sister SWEARS by the hot/cold shower for sore backs.

Thirty seconds as hot as you can stand, two minutes as cold as you can stand, ten times in a row. It's easier if someone else does the water.

And quit fussing with the damn coats.

I just taught the neighbor's dog a new game. We played Hush. He barks, I tell him, "Hush!" Lather, rinse, repeat. So I added a new twist, called hosetime! I won.

He's a pack animal, did he not figure out that I'm just a tad more alpha than he is? I mean, before I soaked him of course. 'Cause he definitely knows now.

Also good for bruising. FWIW. Um, to get *rid* of bruising. To get bruising, well that is most everything else in my life.

I am drawing a steamy hot Epson bath right now.

To get bruising we could go back to "tying Cass to the chaise" if you'd like.
