My tummy hurts.
'Objects In Space'
Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I want to get my wireless network set up.
oh vw, I so empathize. I thought mine was going to be really easy to set up and it just wasn't at all. I still haven't gotten it to work right. It only works if I'm in the same room as the airport thingy. (I have cable not DSL though.)
hey, is erika around? I added another name to my Wire Star Watching Life List. We saw Sonja Sohn (aka Kima) out at breakfast yesterday. My mom spotted her and was amazed at how teeny she is. But that's how all the TV & movie people I've seen in real life are. Teeny bodies, big heads. She's still super beautiful. Gorgeous cheekbones.
Oh, well, I might have figured out the problem. Our service start date isn't till tomorrow. I don't know how it connected to set up the account, but that's why. Duh.
Happy Birthday, Meara and Jen!
Yay for health coverage, vw, and a dishwashing not!Emily.
I'm glad Aimee hasn't killed anyone yet, however justified it might be.
I have determined that my only non-Buffista friend in New Orleans has safely evacuted to her relatives in Nashville. She's my cousin's husband's sister, and the only person who keeps me sane at our annual family Christmas gatherings. Everyone I'm actually related to starts to send me around the bend after a while.
The edge of the hurricane has arrived here. It's very wet, with tornado and flash flood watches.
Happy birthday meara and Jen!
I'm just know caught up from Thursday--you people talk a lot.
Yes, my dress is strapless, but I will only wear it so for the reception. In church my shoulders and back will be covered by a very Audrey Hepburn-esque portrait collar. I initially didn't want strapless, but the available dresses with sleeves made my arms look like ham hocks. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I set a limit of $1500. I blew that out of the water; mine was $3800. And it's going to be worth every penny. I feel pretty when I have it on.
Erm, I promise not to be like Aimee's bride from hell, nor like Nora's selfish wench on the subway. My bridesmaids can have their hair done if they desire, but I am not going to require it. Whatever makes them most comfortable. I won't be at the salon for a bit (makeup is being done at a different place), but I'm having a light brunch set up so they don't go hungry. I haven't required them to spend a dime on a shower or bachelorette party, and I found dresses that were half of the sticker price if we ordered online. They're already spending enough with flights and hotel, and I'd feel guilty about asking them to do any more than I already have.
Safe~ma to you, Ginger!
My sis and her kiddos (my niece and nephew) are in MS but closer to Memphis so I'm expecting them to be just fine.
Maria, if more brides were like you....well, then we wouldn't have horror stories to share here, would we? I can't WAIT to see pictures of you in your dress!
Both Bride and Groom have insinuated that they've "done everything for everyone else's wedding. Now it's our turn."
On the other hand, I found out this weekend that the groomsmen are getting iPods. Not sure which size, but there you go. And, the Bride is spending more on the bridesmaids gifts than the groomsmen gifts. I admit, I can be bought. If we get a full on iPod, I'll consider everything worth it.
Happy Birthday meara and Jen!!
I hope the storm withers away before it gets to you Ginger. We still have a few hundred thousand without power here and it was a baby storm when it passed through.
We're right on the edge, Laura, so I really just expect a lot of rain. I'm a little worried about Nashville, though, which looks like it's going to get a lot more wind.
