MFNLaw's dress is strapless (if I remember right), she'll pull it off.
See, I just lumber through the thread like a smelly rhinocerous, managing to offend multiple people with one ignorant comment.
Sorry.
'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sorry.
I tried on some strapless dresses. They all gave the impression that I had acres of exposed flesh between my neck and the dress. I don't think I'm one that could pull it off.
My friend that looked stunning in her strapless dress has suggested that we put on our wedding dresses, rent tuxes for our husbands and go out for dinner somewhere really fancy, see how much free stuff they give us. I don't think we actually can, though, since I borrowed her petticoat thing and neither of our dresses looks right without it.
I'm with you, Tep.But too shocked and full of " Damn!" to respond in a timely fashion. Hopefully, those folks are not looking for change in the couch like me, though.
macks on Teppy
just 'cause.
Financial Summit today- a FULL DAY of going over what we have spent, what we will spent, and how much we will spend on various categories. GAHHHHHHHHH.
I'm just irked that you can't find a decent sleeved dress to save your life these days.
Strapless and me are unmixy things. Yes, we made my dress, but back in my day, you could find dresses with sleeves, damn it!
Hmm. My lawn has kids.
I look horrible in strapless. I am bony-chested, small-breasted, and really long-torsoed. I would look like a skeleton in white strapless.
My mother made my dress, for about $60 in materials. I should have paid for a seamstress, though, to avoid the trauma of having my skirt hemmed the day of the wedding.
The Bmaids dresses are strapless as well. It will look good on me after it is fitted. Right now, the top falls off.
I had a strapless dress and I'm not the least offended, Tep. One of the things I didn't like was the expression on the model's face. Maybe that's petty, but brides should look happy, not pouty.
eta: my dress was $350 5 years ago. I wish I had a picture to show everyone. It was the One True Dress.

I did. It took a lot of looking, but I found one.
Does that merit a nyah nyah nyah? I doubt it.
I should add, just to truly convey the horrible of strapless on me, a skeleton with really low-hanging breasts. To those of who you can wear strapless, how do you make it so your tits don't look really saggy? (Or maybe mine just are naturally low).
