If he was supposed to call at 3:30, and he doesn't call by 4, am I allowed to call him?

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I think it's all about the demeanor of the bride wearing it -- and, to me, most women can't pull off wearing a strapless wedding dress. Jess is the exception to the rule.
She might pull it off. Not sure yet.
I spent way more than I could imagine spending on my dress, but my parents generously picked up the tab and it was just so perfect. And a large portion of the price in my case was the extensive fitting and tailoring that made it fit like a dream. My mother made my flower girl's dress and my sister's wedding dress, and she was very impressed with the seamstress work, so I think it was worth it.
Eta: It's now in a box in my closet.
(I had the train on my dress removed. It's in my closet right now, in case anyone wants a few feet of ivory silk satin.)

Send me an email and I'll look for it when I get back from Chicago. (There's a chance I got rid of it when we moved, but if I still have it in the closet, it's yours.)
Errr....apologies to anyone I very likely offended with my strapless-dress prejudice and/or my damn-that's-a-lot-of-money prejudice.
MFNLaw's dress is strapless (if I remember right), she'll pull it off.
"This is getting rather comical," he says after explaining that his daughter hit her head on a coffee table and he has to go take her to get stitches. And so we'll be rescheduling this thing yet again.

See, I just lumber through the thread like a smelly rhinocerous, managing to offend multiple people with one ignorant comment.
Sorry.
