I don't understand why somebody would tell you why they were skipping your wedding. Why not just decline the invitation and send a gift? Telling you the reason is bound to lead to value judgement discussion.

It's one thing to be hanging out and holding a conversation with Dave Barry; it's an intimate setting. It's another to be packed into a stadium with 20,000 screaming fans. What gets my goat is that they're not attending the afternoon wedding, ostensibly because of the concert. Lisa was right, regretfully decline and leave it at that.
No impending bitter for me. I've got PLENTY of other things about which to be vitriolic.

Also a 8 cup measuring bowl w/lid that you can bake a cake in. There was a recipe.
I'm not the type of person who could be described as someone who likes to cook, and even *I* love the Pampered Chef batter bowl.
