I had a whole section about civic pride.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dude. I just checked in for my flight tomorrow.

I'm gonna try that next time I fly. In 16 days.

K-Bug just found out that she will get her braces off in little over a month. She is so excited.

I still remember when she lost her first tooth, and now we are almost done with ortho and talking about learners permits...YIKES!!!

A loose tooth always freaked me out. I think it probably was the first time I experienced being both strongly squicked and yet drawn to something -- once it started I dreaded having it break off but I couldn't stop fussing with it.

I just checked in for my flight tomorrow.

Is there an advantage to doing this if you still have to check bags?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Stephanie! The bar is coming up soon, isn't it? I'm vibing hard for you....

Depending on which airline, there are often dedicated lines to check the baggage of those folks who've checked in online. The lines to check in, even at an eticket kiosk, can be horrendously long.

Most of the time, I check in online and drop my luggage off curbside, and I'm through security and at the gate in 10 minutes.

Hmm. I don't think I can do it without coordinating with my hubby. We're on two different reservations because I go to San Antonio from Lansing and he goes to Dallas.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

All of the above. I have a dedicated line at LAX and one at DTW and I got 12 rows closer to the front.

And this:

Is wonderful when you have an infant.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

My mom used to wake me up with Oh, What a Beautiful Morning, as well. I hate that song now. Actually, I hate most morning themed songs, because she liked to mix it up. Also, can't stand piano music in the morning. The piano was against the other side of my bedroom wall. Not a good way to wake up.

I hate mornings.

I got "Wake up little Suzi".....I still get it, in fact. Not every morning, but enough.
