Raq, Emmett got so constipated he was impacted. No Fun Whatsoever! Mineral oil works very quickly and you can just mix it in with juice or whatever. It's perfectly safe. That was our pediatrician's recommendation, and it worked very well. He also advocated putting dark corn syrup in with the formula - it's a natural laxative and easy for infants to digest.
