Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

She used to do that. We got her to stop by telling her we'd rip her tongue out by the roots. erm, by gently encouraging her to use her creativity in other ways.

Nicole, sorry about the car crap.

Nora, I think you did great. The only other thing I can think of would be hand sanitizer, but I bet they got a sample of that at the hospital. Maybe wet wipes? You can never have too many wet wipes.

Oh, Kara! What a silly girl.

Timelies everyone! I'm surprisingly chipper this morning. I think knowing the results of Toto's test has really calmed me a bit and shown me that I can handle more than I think I can.

Also, had a nice evening with the 'rents last night. It was dad's birthday, and I think he had a really nice time.

Nora, definitely have Tom send an e-mail similar to what Deena said. Networking is a really powerful tool. If you want someone to chat more with Tom about the powers of networking, he could talk to my mom. She's all about the networking, and is keeping up with her networking groups (and doing mentoring) even though she has a job now. It's a give and take kind of thing...and it's really powerful tool in the marketplace right now.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Oh, Nicole, that sucks.

Deena, freaking the minions out is an important skill. Unpredictability, and all that.

Ack! It took me too long to post that. Poor Nicole! Whatcha gonna do now?

Nora, I think you did great. That's very sweet of you, and sounds perfect.

I was going to get wet wipes... but faltered. Maybe on the next trip to Target. We share the house with them, they ain't going anywhere.

Vw, I forgot to say that I'm glad Toto doesn't have Cushings. I hope he bounces back soon.

I'm getting the pig!

I'm not a mom but I think your gift basket sounds like a great idea, Nora.

Yay for chipper, vw!

Good news for Nicole: The car is on your property and you can figure out what to do without having to call a tow truck and take it somewhere immediately.

Bad news for Nicole: everything else about the situation. I'm sorry.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Did I do OK?

I think it's a great idea, Nora. Your reasoning looks perfectly sound to me. When Bec and I had our engagement party, one couple gave us a collection of cleaning products and other household items. We were very grateful for them.
