Is "Wally made me do it!" a valid excuse, do you think?
Very valid excuse. Also, I think you might just be doomed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No, not yet. There are a few issues, e.g.:
1. She hates lamb. What's that about?!
2. I want to be sure that talking with her won't always be a sparring match.
3. She's concerned that, with work and study, she doesn't have enough time left over to give to a relationship. I'm in a better position than most to understand and cope with that, but I still have to decide if that's ok with me.
4. Actuary overload!! Save yourselves!!!!
I'm a bit of a romantic, but I'm still, well, me. I don't do anything important without a list.
1. more lamb for you

1. Even your list is adorable. 2. You just made plans for November.
1. more lamb for you
True, unless one of us is cooking it.
1. Even your list is adorable.
Oh, I know that. It is, after all, my list.
2. You just made plans for November.
Hee. Not terribly detailed plans, but I like 'em. We'll see what she says. It's not definite; she's kind of flirtically-challenged.
yay I have a good DH! I now have BTVS theme song back on my phone. finally the proper ringtone
It took me forever to find the BTVS ringtone on my phone. It was hiding under the Fox ringtones, instead of under the regular television ringtones.
flirtically-challenged
Hee. Does the AS have red hair?
Health~ma for Em and sleep~ma for Empress. Being a mother is like being a soldier - you grab sleep whenever you can, because sometimes you have to go for days without it.
Mal has jumped another plateau in cognitive and physical development. I was talking on VOIP to some friends Sunday night, holding my computer microphone in one hand and Mallory on my lap with the other. He watched me intently for a couple minutes and then grabbed the microphone, held it to his mouth the right way, and started talking. I died from teh cute.
Plans for today:
1.Attempt to get flat tire changed. We put the spare on, but now I need to take it somewhere and have them mount a new tire. I don't know the words for any of this in Greek.
2. Collect new crop of thong underwear off back porch and return it to owner.
3. Finish poster design.
Hee. Does the AS have red hair?
No, she's originally from Taiwan, where red hair is less common. I'm bearing up manfully under the disappointment, you understand.
It does sound like you are handling it rather well. Or, well, not handling the hair yet, but certainly hiding any disappointment you may have.
And hey, lots of cool people don't like lamb.
