Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have no Catholic background and iconography to smash, but I get a kick out of watching DL smash his
I am liking every blasphamous inch of it. There are other parts of the show that I don't always like but the Jesus and Mary bits are great.

Now I'm on this week's episode. Mary just made him go down on his knees.

Oh, now I am watching the Peter Jennings special (I missed a lot of tv in the past few weeks) and three minutes in I'm already crying. And there is a flopsie puppycat on the bed with me. She senses weakness and thinks I will pet her now. Which is true.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

We just watched The Thin Man. Much more cheerful than blasphemous. Well, all except the murders.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I don't want to be a grown up. I want a maid and someone to buy me this: [link]

We're trying to clean the living room in between tending the baby. Now she's finally napping and I just want to crash.

But my living room isn't done.

Feh.

Quite seriously, to anyone considering house buying (single family homes--I think condos get a pass on this, on account of dues covering a lot of this shit) soon, if you live anywhere close to paycheck to paycheck, even if your mortgage is about the same as your rent, save your pennies and keep renting. I'm back to obsessing about everything that needs to be done, some of which is regular house updating/maintaining crap, some of which is shit that just simply needs to be done but keeps getting put off because any project beyond DIY painting is going to run you at least a grand, and wanting someone to come along and offer to buy up our whole block so they can build townhomes or something.

BTW, welcome back, P-C. Hope you had some fun on your vacation.

A asked him if the girls liked him, he claimed he didn't know how you could tell. A assured him you can tell

Awww! So cute! Though must be slightly freaky, as a mom. :)

Good luck handling everything, Susan. I'm sure it'll be a tough time, but you know there's lots of people out there who are there for you.

I share the Big Gay Pirate Movie love.

Also: coming home to a very sweet sexy email? Nice. But not as nice as if the sender of said email were, ya know, within driving distance. GRRRRR.

And there is a flopsie puppycat on the bed with me. She senses weakness and thinks I will pet her now. Which is true.

Awwww! Sniff. Peter Jennings! Flopsy puppycat! Want!

I want both of these things too. Though your words to the wise about ownership make me glad I only rent this baby. Born in 1928 means she's got issues. I can handwave them with the rental thing but ownership would be terrifying. Not that anything gets fixed really, but I would care a lot more if she was mine.

She shares nicely. Come visit and she'll "oops, I fall down" for you when you pets her. And then bounce up ready to go again. Though she wants belly rubs now. Belly rubs lead to the EvilWillowBlackEyesOfDoom and biteses.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Though she wants belly rubs now. Belly rubs lead to the EvilWillowBlackEyesOfDoom and biteses.

Yes, but belly rubs are just so tempting. The belly is just sitting there, all exposed and wanting to be rubbed....

I'm bleeding a little now.

It's the chirping. She makes these cute chirpy noises that seem to be promising that this time she really just wants her tummy scratched, she really won't grab your arm and nip at it.

Liar.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I hate it when pets lie.

"I'm sweet, I'm furry, YOU'RE powerless against my cuteness, bald monkey. You'll believe anything I say."

And the little fuckers are right.
