It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My Healing Food Pyramid would start with a dark chocolates base, continue with fudges, followed by brownies, Devils Food cakes and topped with chocolate ice cream variations.

In case you didn't know, dcj is BRILLIANT!

Thanks.

I just included a note to say Devils Food cakes should be expanded to include all chocolate cakes and pies.... hee.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Cool/scary:

Mapping the genome of rice

OMG. My mom's jackass thesis advisor told her that instead of her project examining cognitive development of children of inner-city teenage mothers, she should do something interesting like...mapping the genome of rice.

Freak-y.

brillig

God, I hope Hubby doesn't see anything about this story:

ALBERTON, Mont. - Three firefighters hunkered underneath emergency shelters as a wildfire burned over them but all three emerged safely, fire officials said Thursday.

[link]

He had to do this himself more than once, and his worst nightmares are about hearing the people whose emergency shelters didn't work as designed. They call it "going baked potato", because you wrap yourself up in a protective blanket and pray that there aren't any tiny holes in the thing.

Hey. New board.

See this tagline? It's all the fault of you people talking about Into the Woods last night! Damn you all. Damnnnnnn youuuuuuuu!

Consider me damned.

Your tagline is one of the most perfectly Sondheimian lines in the musical. I adore it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Aimee}}} Back~ma.

Continued ~ma to Toto & vw.

I bought a new computer yesterday! I can't really afford it, but I so need it if I am going to be back in school next month. Yesterday and today has been all about transfering data. I haven't been able to look at any of the pictures posted, because opening another link would totally make this old computer crash right now.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I've come up with four things I make for the Buffista cookbook. Now I just have to figure out how to actually write it down and perhaps measure.

Off to have dinner with my dad.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Somebody fill me in on the Buffista Cookbook idea? I've seen bits of references, but I must have skipped past the actual idea. We talking published/self published? Or are we talking collection of Buffista recipes online? Or what?

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm not sure if this will come over correctly, but it's in Press at vw bug "Sunnydale Press" Aug 11, 2005 4:40:33 am PDT, Fay. It looks like we're talking a full-blown paper cookbook of buffistas' favorite recipes, which will sell for probably about $10 to recoup printing costs and perhaps benefit the board a bit.

eta: Wow. I actually did the link right. Neat.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Somebody fill me in on the Buffista Cookbook idea?

It's sort of in the To Serve Man vein. How best to braise an Aimee. Should you roll Betsy in cornmeal or flour before frying. Roasted DXM with apples and onions. Hec Relleno in Picante Sauce.

Mostly lurking...

Go, libkitty! That's pretty much the scoop, Fay. If you have any questions, let me know.

Also, Kat, I'm gonna sleep on this whole copyright issue, but I'm thinking we should probably stay away from recipes from another cookbook, as your PTA did, just to be safe. I'll post in Press about it tomorrow, though.
