It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ah, stories of correcting doctors. Such as when I had to tell a doctor that the x-ray he was showing me was not of my husband's kidneys. "But it has his name on it." "But it shows a gall bladder. My husband doesn't have a gall bladder." "Are you sure?" "Note the very large scar on his stomach." Doctor pauses: "Boy, whoever this x-ray is of is having a bad day, too."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, Cindy! I hope it was his staff, so you don't have to find a new doctor. How scary, and how rage-making!

Mostly lurking...

vw, how is Toto doing?

I think he's doing better. We're going to finish this course of antibiotics and see if it seems to stick.

If I only had a brain...

Cindy, I wanna kill your doctor's office staff.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm on my sister's craptastic dial up but I wanted to pop in and say hello. The kid is currently chasing my sister's two cats around the living room.

I'll mostly likely be dark from now till Thursday, at least.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Now I need to see Primer again.
I'm still getting past seeing it the first time. I liked it, it was just not what I expected. Queues should have a place for you to take notes when you put movies there, otherwise I end up getting something in the mail and just looking at it with a, "The hell?" expression for a while.
I always put the "who is okay" thing at the beginning, because when I read people's stress stories, my heart is in my throat.
It is a good and right thing to do.

I have achieved lunch. It's not quite the progress I was planning to have by now but I have lunch and it's a start.

Coding and Sleeping

That's awful treatment from your doctor's office Cindy. I'm glad to hear that you got him the treatment he needed though.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oy, Cindy, how horrible. I'm so glad you're not a new mother. I swear, even reading the "who is okay now" I had a galloping heart by the end.

We're hoping to go back to the doctor who was our family doctor when we had to change insurance at Kara's birth, now that we're back on the insurance he accepts. I can even request an appt. online. I like it.

Trust my rage

Cindy, so glad to hear Chris is okay. Allergic reactions can be so serious so fast. I can't believe they just blew you off like that.
