Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Is there anything you can do, other than sitting relatively still trying not to breathe too hard?

Nope. And, since it's not as debilitating as it was the first time around, and I am poor right now (just before leaving on a six day trip to Texas to meet gf's friends and family), I'm not even going to let it keep me home from work. Which will be hang-and-circuit, meaning I'll have lift things and work with my arms over my head for extended periods. We'll see how long I last.

Happy Birthday, KB!

Happy Birthday, Robin!

Ouch, Jessica. Try not to kick anyone.

Ouch, Sean. Stay away from funny people and try not to sneeze.

And gronk. My hubby's plane was two hours late last night so I got four hours of sleep and I have three meetings today. Yet another reason to hate the airlines.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

oof, Sean. I hope it passes. Are you able to get to a doctor or anything?

Happy birthday Robin! Hope it was a wonderful one. Happy birthday Katerina Bee!

Well...wear a really tight t-shirt and hope it holds everything in place?

I'm glad to be working for the Beeb today. My salary may be shitty, but at least I'm in no danger of running out of paid sick days.

ION, YUM. Want.

Maybe I can persuade DH to get me strawberries, mascarpone, and an ice cream maker when he goes to get me my drugs...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oof. Any way to wrap your ribcage somehow to keep anything from getting worse?

We've got an ACE bandage, I thinking a wrapping might be in order.

All is well that ends in pizza.

OTOH? March of the Penguins is set to become the #1 grossing documentary of all time, out grossing [as it were] Michael Moore. It is already #2.

Um... I've heard that MotP is about to become the #2 grossing docu of all time, surpasing Moore's Bowling for Columbine but still way short of Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11.

Still does not entirely negate my statement. It's still going strong, and after #2 falls by the wayside, it could soon go #1 given it's current momentum.

I think the subject matter may help a lot. Sure 9/11 was sensational, but Penguins!

Penguins, I say!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, Fahrenheit 9/11 grossed $119 million, and MotP just passed Bowling for Columbine (which made $21.6 million), so MotP has a ways to go to pass F9/11.
