There's a touch of bittersweet nostalgia, some fond regrets, but no demons. In my email to Bec, I thanked her for the years we had together, let her know I'd learned more from her than anyone else in my adult life, and that she's a special woman who deserves to be happy. And meant every word.
This is very beautiful and makes me so happy to read. And sniffle a little. It's lovely though, just lovely.
I was just thinking today if it might not be advisable to start thinking about a kid-safe thread, for whatever value of kid-safe, for the sprog.
Any kid worth their salt would be lurking everywhere, though.
Trudy!
I was watching Over There today, and one of the soldiers (very smart Arab kid who is up on the situation in a big way) described the situation in Iraq just like your sketch! I may have squeed a little bit.

Part of the reason I decided not to think about it. The logistics made my brain hurt.
(Although, I suspect they'll be doing that, anyway)

This makes me rediculosly happy.
Tom S. and Megan Walker actually saw it. I think it went over pretty well.
We had a lot of new cast last night and a pretty rough house. Today I was one exhausted bunny. I was going to clean house, get a nap, write some sketches and then go to Mom's tomorrow to do some stuff.
Only the nap was completed.
Now its nearly midnight and I'm sorta hungry...
Glad to oblige. You're right there on top of things, with your timeliness.
Well, make sure next week's is good. (We should, like, plan on a doing of some sort, probably, I guess)
Napping is good, if it was needed. Eat if you are hungry. This is, to me, a good rule to live by.
I should get to bed. I have "class" tomorrow. And I need to find a bank. I may go to Trader Joe's, too.
G'night, all.
Don't let the bed bugs bite! (unless it is necessary for the actualization of their natural process or whatever)
Yes, according to CNN, Sumi.
Poor Peter Jennings.
When the towers were hit ABC was the only channel I could get. I never turned the television off. Peter Jennings voice was there for hours and hours and hours... I don't know how he kept going.
