Happy Birthday, Deena!

'Objects In Space'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Birthday, Deena!
Also, much ~ma to Toto and vw.
{{{vw}}} {{{Toto}}} and health ~ma to Toto too.
I've just told the boss folk around here that I'm going to be looking for another position
If it's ok to be public, Sparky, what sort of position are you looking for? Are you mostly looking to change location or what you do? If you're still trying to keep it close, nevermind, but job search ~ma. And resolution ~ma.

Sparky! I totally missed this earlier. (Thanks for posting about it, libkitty). We need to talk.

Timelies! I've been off at a marvelous wedding, have lovely Australian houseguests (whom I'd never met before) who are here for the wedding, plus I got to leave them at my home (happily on their part) caring for my cats while I went off to the beach house with a pal for half a week. ::sigh:: It's a drag being back at work, but YAY for paycheck in my desk drawer and Internet access.
ION, my tiara arrived, courtesy of Javacat! Wheeee! Very, very pretty, and strangely, it's one I almost bought for my recipient. Great minds. Thank you, Javacat!
There will be pictures, when I figure out where the digital camera is.
Thanks to the marvelous term search function, I've discovered that my tiaree rec'd her tiara. You're welcome, AmyLiz, I'm glad you like it!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEENA!!
I hope Toto feels better, vw.
Sparky! We saw an ultralight, at least that's what I think it was. Y'all should come fly and visit next time.
Happy birthday Deena!!
My mom called again today. Dad is doing better, not in a change of prognosis way, but he's eating more and resting better since they got the hospice nurse in to help every day.
I went to Nordstrom Rack this afternoon and found a dress I think will work. It's a 2-piece thing, a fairly plain sleeveless dress in a dark wine purple, with a rather long skirt, with a sort of tweedy plaid jacket in the same base color. It's a bit matronly, but I figure that's OK under the circumstances. It's also a bit heavy for early fall in Alabama, but it was so very much a bargain I figured I could keep looking in other places, and if I can't find anything else suitable, it's no hotter than a man's suit, and somehow they manage in the heat.
So, I'm meeting with the CEO of the company I interviewed the other day at 7:30 tommorrow morning. Which is groovy and all, but odd for a support position, no?
Now I have to unearth more fancypants clothes. Wish me no wrinkle
I'm glad that your Dad is more comfortable, Susan. Also -- always good to find a good suit at a decent price.
ION, I discovered that Hershey nuggets come in dark chocolate with raspberry. . . this may not be the best possible discovery. . . (I bought two bags. . . they were on sale!)
I don't know that I believe Sumi. At least, I am trying not to.
Good Luck, Lilty!
