Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

So, I'm meeting with the CEO of the company I interviewed the other day at 7:30 tommorrow morning. Which is groovy and all, but odd for a support position, no?

Now I have to unearth more fancypants clothes. Wish me no wrinkle

Art Crawl!!!

I'm glad that your Dad is more comfortable, Susan. Also -- always good to find a good suit at a decent price.

ION, I discovered that Hershey nuggets come in dark chocolate with raspberry. . . this may not be the best possible discovery. . . (I bought two bags. . . they were on sale!)

I don't know that I believe Sumi. At least, I am trying not to.

Good Luck, Lilty!

{{{Susan}}} I am glad your dad is resting more comfortably.

Lilty, good luck with the interview and with finding your clothes.

Hehe. Now I'm imagining Lilty scurrying around her house trying to find her clothes tomorrow so she doesn't have to go to her interview naked. I think she'd get the job, if she did that.

{{vw}} job~ma, darlin'. Also, {{Toto}}. Poor wee puppy.

{{Susan}} Coping~ma. Good to hear your dad's more comfortable, now.

sumi, I don't know how much more food pr0n I can stand tonight. First Jessica and Maria. Now you. My Hersheys Kisses are looking pretty much like chopped liver now.

Susan, I'm glad your dad is eating and resting more.

Lilty, jobma! Sparky, jobma! vw, jobma!

What are the plans for the rest of the birthday? Cake details needed.

Oops, we ran off. I went and picked up the gift certificate to the cheesecake factory because the power went off, and then we came home to find a box from Nicole with Ultraviolet DVDs! yay! and a box of See's chocolates from someone anonymous, though I think I know who they're from. Yay! Then we went out to dinner to the CF, and it was okay. Greg's Chicken piccatta was amazing, Nick's buffalo chicken was dipped in a bourbon sauce that was too bourbony for me, and I had the mahi-mahi and it was, sadly, the okay part since they peppered and lemoned it near to death. Kara and Aidan shared a plate of angel-hair tossed with basil, garlic and tomato, but it was rather strongly basily, so they didn't eat much. Then we had no room for cheesecake, so we got some to go, and then we went and wandered the shopping center which is just amazing.

There's a fountain, free wifi, benches and seats, massive flowers, and a portico with about 12 tables set up with chess sets on them. There were also a Barnes and Noble AND a Borders (as well as other stores I didn't really notice), so we visited both, and I bought myself a pretty notebook with no lines to doodle in and a page up thingy because the babies destroyed my old one, and then we came home and put our sadly too-warm cheesecake in the fridge, put the babies to bed and sat. I'm exhausted. Also very happy. It's been a lovely birthday.

Deena! It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday. I am glad you were out having fun, I was getting worried because you haven't answered the phone.

This is the place that Abi and I got lost trying to find! I saw the Borders first and thought "this can't possibly be the right place because there can't be a Borders and a B&N".

Thank you, Perkins. :) Oh, and I just remembered. I've tried the chocolate raspberry thingies and they were horrible. Really, you don't need to eat any of them. I would even be willing to take sumi's off her hands to save her the horrible experience.

I think I need my drugs.
