Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

Her stand that this Can't Be Done might hold more water if it hadn't already Been Done on previous checks. Whatev. Clearly time to start looking, even if not quite time to storm out dramatically.

This.

ION, when I am a rich bestselling novelist (yeah, right), I'm going to have my own physical therapist on staff. I left the house for my appointment today Hating The World. We're talking one big bundle of sore-backed, PMS-y, stressed-out, over-scheduled crankiness.

The only thing PT even mildly improved was the sore back, but now I'm all, "Why was I taking X so personally? And if I can't get everything done, some of it will happen tomorrow. Or next week. Or next time it's cool enough to pick blackberries and slave over a hot stove."

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Now, I want blackberry pancakes.

Maybe that's what I can do with all the blackberries in the fridge if I don't get time to pick another batch to make up enough for the jam recipe!

Anyway, my priorities for the day are:
-Write my page quota
-Work on the two freelance jobs that landed in my lap
-Load & run dishwasher so Annabel will have clean sippy cups
-Vacuum the living room
-Roll trash can to edge of alley so it'll be picked up tomorrow morning

That's all that has to happen. If I manage to make jam, start laundry, and go a few pages over my page quota (which I've been doing the past few days--I've rounded the far turn on my WIP and am trying to kick in afterburners for the homestretch like what's-his-name the horse who won the Preakness & Belmont), that's wonderful, but it's not necessary. Really. Must make myself believe that.

Thrive to spite them

I took the last of my Lamictal last night. Noticed I have no refills. Realized I forgot my shrink appoint in July (I made the appt 6 months ago, it's not surprising I forgot with the move and all).

And then all day I forgot to call to reschedule and get some. So I don't know if I'll have any. Luckily I have a refill left on Seroquel (I'm prescribed a bit extra in case I need it to sleep, but I don't take it all, so I end up with extras).

THankfully I can go one night with out Lamictal.
