Now, I want blackberry pancakes.
Spike's Bitches 25 to Life
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Maybe that's what I can do with all the blackberries in the fridge if I don't get time to pick another batch to make up enough for the jam recipe!
Anyway, my priorities for the day are:
-Write my page quota
-Work on the two freelance jobs that landed in my lap
-Load & run dishwasher so Annabel will have clean sippy cups
-Vacuum the living room
-Roll trash can to edge of alley so it'll be picked up tomorrow morning
That's all that has to happen. If I manage to make jam, start laundry, and go a few pages over my page quota (which I've been doing the past few days--I've rounded the far turn on my WIP and am trying to kick in afterburners for the homestretch like what's-his-name the horse who won the Preakness & Belmont), that's wonderful, but it's not necessary. Really. Must make myself believe that.
Happy anniverasy Miracleborns!
Thanks for the anniversary wishes!
IOmeNews:
It has been 18 hours since my last cig.
No patch, no gum.
Pure willpower.
Fear me.
I took the last of my Lamictal last night. Noticed I have no refills. Realized I forgot my shrink appoint in July (I made the appt 6 months ago, it's not surprising I forgot with the move and all).
And then all day I forgot to call to reschedule and get some. So I don't know if I'll have any. Luckily I have a refill left on Seroquel (I'm prescribed a bit extra in case I need it to sleep, but I don't take it all, so I end up with extras).
THankfully I can go one night with out Lamictal.
It has been 18 hours since my last cig.
No patch, no gum.
Pure willpower.
Fear me.
Everybody, run! Those who can't run, duck!
And Happy Anniversary, Miracleborns!
Happy Anniversary, Miracleborns! May this day return once a year. Umm well I guess it will regardless of my wishes. Anyway...
It has been 18 hours since my last cig.
No patch, no gum.
Truly Imperial Will Power! Go You!
Joe, however, was not strong and was done in by the teat of the goddess nicotine.
Jay Hammond, former governor of Alaska, true statesman, and all around good guy, passed away in his sleep last night. Normally, when elder statesmen pass away, I am not overly saddened. However, not only did I know Gov. Hammond (not well, but I knew him), but I admired him more than almost any other statesmen. Plus, although long retired, he still was an effective broker of compromise. I literally burst into tears when I heard of his passing. This is a huge loss for Alaska.
