Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Anniversary Joe and Aimee!

So, I talked to the Big!Boss. She is freaking out now and doesn't know what to do. She is mortified that I was told the incorrect information, but doesn't see how she can now offer it to me. She said she'd see what she could do (talk to the lawyers, etc.) and let me know. I also told her I'd think about things tonight. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I impressed someone who lived in Waterbury, who was at an inn I was at last week, by saying that my friend's brother was the executive chef. Heh.

If you knew my bro, you'd understand the full effect of just how funny that is.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Anniversary, Aimee & Joe!!!

I'm a little hurty today, but not as bad as I thought I would be when I went to bed last night. I have a million things on my to do list today and only four hours left until Teacup Guy gets here. He seems to have started picking up on my moods, because he has already suggested that today be an eat out day.

Jessica, so sorry to hear about the accident, but I am happy to hear that no one is hurt and that your vacation was otherwise a good one.

Not only have they taken back the offer of health insurance, but now they are taking back sick/personal time. Pissed off does not even cover how I'm feeling right now.

WTF? That is awful. I agree with the others who said that you can't really stay under these circumstances. So sorry. I'm glad you found a roomate though.

Her stand that this Can't Be Done might hold more water if it hadn't already Been Done on previous checks. Whatev. Clearly time to start looking, even if not quite time to storm out dramatically.

Oh, yeah. Epic reminded me. Big!Boss is Full Of It.

She is trying to play innocent so that you feel guilty about insisting on your rights, as was offered with the job. Quite convenient that the person responsible for this information is gone.

I highly doubt the information is "incorrect." it has been changed.

If you had been told when the job was offered - so be it. After useing some sick time - that's changeing the rules. there should be no guilt on vw's part.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Awww, fuck.

There's been a mistake in handling how the summer associates who do pro bono projects at the end of the season are handled in payroll and it's going to come down on my head.
