Nine or ten years ago at Mass General Hospital, dh and a co-worker decided to build a webpage for the Help Desk. Scott was managing Operations, the Shop (people who went out and fixed your computer) and the HD.
The guy he reported to told him not to waste his time and the hospital's money. Nobody was ever going to type in "http://www.".

I have seen places where Wikipedia in and of itself is not considered a reliable source because of fears of too many fingers in the pie. I guess the oversight by the 'pedia supervisors isn't trusted.

Oh yeah. I don't necessarily trust wikipedia info. It's way subject to bias, but the format is brilliant. I think it would work great for documentation.

ETA: It just started going through a bit of oil a couple of weeks ago. When I checked the oil last Thursday I also glanced in the coolant reservoir and saw that it was tan colored and opaque. So I took it to my usual service station and said, essentially, wtf? They sent me to the dealer. Oy.
Sounds more like a blown cylinder head gasket. Muuch cheaper.
Get a second opinion. Get a third.
Check cartalk.com for a trustworthy mechanic in your area.

If you're going to go look at an apartment, maybe you shouldn't *run* there...literally. You may be stinky, and it may really turn off the person showing the apartment.
