If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Meanwhile, an etiquette question: I want to send the woman with whom I had a date on Sunday a note saying I enjoyed it etc. I'm not overly worried about making any faux pas, but anyone have thoughts on possible pitfalls or good things to include?

"Oh, Baby's First Sun God, Oh Smiling One, Oh One that Rattles When I Grab Him, How I Worship You."

Don't say that.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Don't say that.

But what if she does rattle when I grab her?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Then DEFFINATELY don't say that.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

"Hooray for the sun god / he sure is a fun god / RA RA RA!"

"No, really you mean a lot to me baby, I mean the sun shines out of your--Well, actually, I don't know if that's true or not, but I figure it'd be fun to find out."

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Steph, I'm so glad your Father is alright. I'm so sorry you were food-poisoned by gluna fish.

I don't think it was food poisoning -- I think it was just stress.

I'm so bone-crushingly exhausted today.

Thanks, everyone, for your good thoughts for my Dad, and your tolerance of my bratty whiny meltdown. I need to come up with better ways to deal with such massive stress.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Stress always makes me throw up too.

Librarian Warlord

Steph, that was not a bratty, whiny meltdown. It was more than one person should have to deal with alone, and I hope that you have a peaceful day today. Good thoughts heading your father's way.

Lilty, I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin's SiL. All the best to them.

I have too many meetings the next couple of days. They conflict with my coffee intake schedule, so I don't know how I'm going to stay awake. Stoopid meeting rooms where I can't bring my cuppa...

Wha? What kind of evil place are you in?
