Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

"No, really you mean a lot to me baby, I mean the sun shines out of your--Well, actually, I don't know if that's true or not, but I figure it'd be fun to find out."

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Steph, I'm so glad your Father is alright. I'm so sorry you were food-poisoned by gluna fish.

I don't think it was food poisoning -- I think it was just stress.

I'm so bone-crushingly exhausted today.

Thanks, everyone, for your good thoughts for my Dad, and your tolerance of my bratty whiny meltdown. I need to come up with better ways to deal with such massive stress.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Stress always makes me throw up too.

Steph, that was not a bratty, whiny meltdown. It was more than one person should have to deal with alone, and I hope that you have a peaceful day today. Good thoughts heading your father's way.

Lilty, I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin's SiL. All the best to them.

I have too many meetings the next couple of days. They conflict with my coffee intake schedule, so I don't know how I'm going to stay awake. Stoopid meeting rooms where I can't bring my cuppa...

Wha? What kind of evil place are you in?

What kind of evil place are you in?

A library.

Mostly lurking...

Wha? What kind of evil place are you in?

No doubt!

{{{Steph}}} I'm sorry you're exhausted, but it's completely understandable!

I got an XBOX yesterday. We are enjoying it muchly. (And before people are wondering if I've fallen off my rocker and spending money crazily, I should clarify that it's my little brother's old XBOX that he gave to me. I am going to give him a little money for it, but not a lot, and I'm making payments).

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just caught up - hugs and -ma to Teppy and Lilty and families. I'm glad Steph's dad just had a scare, though an ill-timed one (like there's ever a good time).

Now to see if I can salvage what's left of my long weekend (yeah, I know, but I didn't have any fun during the rest of it, really, except for the new HP, and I hate wasting vacation days on nothing; I just couldn't quite drag my carcass into work this morning so I took the day anyway). Maybe a movie.
