Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Wally report! I'm feeling just a little cheeky right now. There's a woman who put on her profile that she's an attractive redhead, interested in fantasy writing (Tolkein, Feist, Eddings among her fave authors), looking for intelligent conversation with a guy who has a sharp sense of humour and can leave her speechless. All good signs, and very challenging. So I decided I'd turn it around, and wrote back saying that her profile sounded like a person I'd like to know, and I'm all agog to find out if she'll live up to it. We'll see how she reacts.

Meanwhile, an etiquette question: I want to send the woman with whom I had a date on Sunday a note saying I enjoyed it etc. I'm not overly worried about making any faux pas, but anyone have thoughts on possible pitfalls or good things to include?

move out and draw fire

She sounds ideal! Go Team Wally!

I dreamt last night I dyed my hair blue. I wonder what that means.

brillig

Baby's First Sun God

Somehow I don't see this being a featured item at Toys R Us. Might go over well at the Stonehenge Gift Shop, though.

Always Anti-fascist!

Don't forget her name...(I'm wondering if that's how Belzer started with "babe", besides being an aging hipster.) Try to remember something specific and fun about that night...she'll be impressed. V. impressed with bt's courtesy at the moment...Wally's a nice bloke.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

but anyone have thoughts on possible pitfalls or good things to include?

the only thing I can think of is that if she is way more into you than you are into her it could engender false hope

Mostly lurking...

I'm back! Didja miss me?

I didn't take notes, so if I'm leaving anyone out, I'm so sorry. Major hugs for Lilty, Susan and Steph and families. Some rough stuff went on this weekend. I'm so sorry.

I got to spend the weekend with my whole family, and it was wonderful. We're all grown up, and it was kinda weird, but really nice. I hope we get to do it again soon.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Don't say that.
