Steph, I'm so glad your Father is alright. I'm so sorry you were food-poisoned by gluna fish.
Spike ,'Get It Done'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cats bite harder than puppies. I have no current bites from my cat but a few scars.I have one on my ass. It is sometimes shocking that she has a home.
Cuuuuute puppy. They are my favorite dog I think.
I hope Tickybox is better and quieter soon.
Have you tried the infant ibuprofen? While I think of it as being harder on the stomach, individual reactions may vary.
Not allowed before 6 months, and it's the sweeteners that are the problem I think, though I'll try it when she's older. She's conked out at last, the poor dear.
I would eat her little toes, but that would wake her.
Oh, and Aimee, that's totally what my mother suggested. I just need to clear some freezer space and find where I've hidden my washcloth stash...
Plei, my Mom swore by kosher dills when we were teething. They stayed cold and had just the right amount of give.
Aimee seems to find this telling about how I turned out. Sometimes it is best to ignore Aimee.

Oh, that's right--Annabel didn't seriously teethe until around 6 months, so I forgot.
Mallory's in his ExerSaucer, talk-chanting to the Smiley Sun. I imagine he's saying "Oh, Baby's First Sun God, Oh Smiling One, Oh One that Rattles When I Grab Him, How I Worship You."

Ha!
Sadly, she's still too young for those, too. (Or not so sadly, because the dills in the house won't be ready to eat for another 10 days.) Hell, she's too young to be able to properly handle the teething rings; she's just figured out she has hands. Though, as the pictures suggest, she's also figured out what to do with them: [link]

What's up with this early teething thing, anyhow? I wasn't exactly prepared for it. Pete blames the comics, says I obviously did something weird trying to get her super powers, and this is my punishment or some such rot.
Seriously, though, she's comfortable most of the time. It only seems to bug her when she's already bugged by something else.
Raq, when I put Lily in her swing, I swear she's plotting with the bear and the seal.

Julia teethed early, although it wasn't *this* early. She was about 4 months. Poor Lily, and poor Mama and Daddy, too. Is she too young for Baby Ora-jel? It's a topical gel you rub on the gums. It might provide temporary relief, during her biggest freak outs.
The Tylenol may not be the culprit for the tummy upset. It might be something to try again, in a day or so.
My husband's aunts would tell you to rub whiskey on her gums, but I won't and wouldn't have done it. They seemed to not understand my choice.
Oh, I forgot. How did the wedding go for you? I mean obviously it wasn't fun having Lily reveal her secret identity as Super Crank. But were you relatively happy with what you wore, and feeling good about yourself? What did you do with your hair? Were you comfy?
