Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have a cranky teething baby in meltdown mode. She was very good through the wedding (people kept commenting on it), but after we'd been there a couple of hours, she hit the point where it was too hot, and there were too many people, and she just couldn't be happy, and oh, by the way, about those teeth...

Such a little introvert.

I am leery of giving her any more of the infant tylenol drops, as they seem to have (well, the crap they sweeten them with) caused her mild tummy crankiness. Time to freeze a pacifier.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Plei, a wetdown, rolled up washcloth frozen in a baggie worked wonders for Em. (Take the baggies off before giving it to her. Not that I forgot. No, not at all.)

Have you tried the infant ibuprofen? While I think of it as being harder on the stomach, individual reactions may vary.

No doubt I will end up having a bunch of sweaty teen boys hanging here so a good fan might have to be added.

and possibly ita

Steph, I'm so glad your Father is alright. I'm so sorry you were food-poisoned by gluna fish.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have one on my ass. It is sometimes shocking that she has a home.

Cuuuuute puppy. They are my favorite dog I think.

I hope Tickybox is better and quieter soon.

Not allowed before 6 months, and it's the sweeteners that are the problem I think, though I'll try it when she's older. She's conked out at last, the poor dear.

I would eat her little toes, but that would wake her.

Oh, and Aimee, that's totally what my mother suggested. I just need to clear some freezer space and find where I've hidden my washcloth stash...

Plei, my Mom swore by kosher dills when we were teething. They stayed cold and had just the right amount of give.

Aimee seems to find this telling about how I turned out. Sometimes it is best to ignore Aimee.

Oh, that's right--Annabel didn't seriously teethe until around 6 months, so I forgot.
