I don't actually know how it happened. I spun around to grab a cd off of the spindle, the cd launched a little too eagerly and then in the franticness of catching it, my knuckle was scrape-y hurt and got a little slash of crimson on it.

I have done the declaration of love by letter thing to someone who didn't love me, and (at about the same time) been recipient of such a letter from someone I wasn't in love with. And actually, much as I was mortified about the former, I was just totally flattered and touched by the latter.
