IOmeN, I wouldn't say my Thursday is going badly, I'd just say it's a mad beehive of work where I'm trying to shoehorn two different tasks into a third one so that we can get everything they want shipped today, shipped. We were short budget (today is the end of the month for us) so they pulled in a huge job for the Venetian, 26 racks and control modules (my department), 1200 dimming modules, hundreds of control stations for architectural lighting (also my department). So I'm testing control modules, repairing them at the same time and bagging up 10-button stations during testing lulls. Wish me coordination~ma, because that's what it all breaks down to.

Born to Run is better than all those songs, but the references are strewn throughout the song, and I can't pick an acceptable number of lines to post. So just know I am right.

It looks like Toto probably has a UTI...poor guy. He's been peeing in the house pretty consistantly for the past week or so now. I finally got concerned today when he had two accidents in about an hour's time. So, I called the vet. I've got an appointment at 5:30pm.

I'm kind of broke, so I asked how they would figure out if he has a UTI. They told me it would be cheaper if I could somehow get a urine sample before coming in, so they didn't have to catheterize (sp?) him. I thought, "Yeah, right."

So, Emily and I just took Toto on a little walk. Emily led Toto, and I followed with a little bowl to collect his pee. It was surprisingly easy. He lifted his leg. I held onto his leg and let him just pee into the bowl. He didn't seem to even notice. Everyone else on the street did, though. Boy, did we get some looks!

Okay, that's pretty funny. Antibiotics are generally pretty cheap, so hopefully it won't take much to get him all fixed up.
