Spike's Bitches 25 to Life

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Some college sports really are professional sports, dressed up in amateur clothing.

I think that makes me lean even more towards their privacy, since they're not even getting paid.

Thrive to spite them

He did have a public meltdown. I wouldn't say he had a stand off with the police.

He was found one night running around in the street, doing push ups, and calling himself God and the Son of God. They arrested him and took him to the hospital. I believe the police told the papers they thought he was under the influence because he was sweaty and flushed, and had a few other physical symtoms that could also be attributed to do physical activity in the middle of the night in June.

It came out that he'd been suspsended from the team right before that for undisclosed reasons and that he'd been acting uncharacteristically for awhile and his grades had slipped.

Sexton's been under the spot light because we was going to be our starting quarterback, he got minimal play time last season and he'd been criticized for some of his play. Of course fans weren't happy with Rix and I think they put a lot of pressure on Sexton to come in and save Florida sTate from the bad quarterbacking. Which of course didn't happen.

Personally, I think a lot of the problems with the offense come from offesnive coordinator and coach's son, Jeff Bowden is a lot of the problem.

I see what you mean. Sports can bring in huge amounts of money, and tons of that goes to the officials, coaches, league expenses, etc., but there's the athletic scholarships, as well. Do they sweeten the pot for the players in any other way, do you know?

Still they're kids. And in a case like this, it is an ill kid, one way or another.

Okay. I'd misremembered. Thanks for clarifying.

Not legally, really. The student athletes I knew were way fucked if they wanted to keep any academic integrity. Can't take any classes later than 2 (basketball at Michigan) and will miss school days all through the season. Not to mention severely restricted time available for homework.

The player I'm thinking of was also pretty strapped for cash (no part time jobs allowed, even if they were possible), so he depended on team subsidies for eating out and clothing (making him a walking billboard). He'd been a 4.0 GPA high school student and was crushed by how sports affected his academics in university.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

They aren't supposed to, but there are scandals now and then. Jobs for players that aren't really jobs, just paychecks, that sort of thing.

Ugh. It's really exploitation, isn't it?

Wow, that really sucks for the honest ones, doesn't it?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Wow.

We don't have that stuff over here.

I'm very glad we don't have that stuff over here. Sounds bonkers.
